Takumi Harada, who is only 12 years old, is already regarded as a phenomenal baseball pitcher. When Takumi's family relocates to the sleepy hamlet of Nitta, he is forced to join his new school's inexperienced baseball team. This development has no impact on the child since he feels it will be more exciting if this unknown club becomes a powerhouse as a result of his presence.
