On the surface, the idea of Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura getting along would appear to be the farthest thing from people's minds. After all, Hori possesses the ideal mix of beauty and intelligence, but Miyamura seems humble and aloof to his peers. However, a fateful encounter between the two reveals both of their secret sides. Hori is popular at school, but owing to chores, she has little time to mingle with her friends. Miyamura, on the other hand, lives beneath the noses of his classmates, his body covered with concealed tattoos and piercings that make him appear to be a mild delinquent. Despite having opposing personalities, the two immediately become friends and frequently spend time together in Hori's house.
