Minami becomes a team manager for her High School baseball team after learning that her best buddy Yuuki is in the hospital and cannot be a team manager any longer. She goes out to get a book on how to manage a baseball club in order to fill in for Yuuki and support the squad as much as she can. Unfortunately, she purchases Peter Drucker's book "Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices" by accident, which is actually on how to effectively run a firm. Because she was unable to return the book, she chooses to study it anyway and attempt to apply the business management techniques to the baseball club in order for them to win the Nationals.
