Aoba Suzukaze has been working at the Eagle Jump gaming firm for a year. During that time, she and her oddball teammates in the character design department have worked tirelessly to bring the company's newest game, Fairies Story 3, to market. With their most recent product now complete, they must embark on a new project, beginning with a contest to determine the character designs for the future game. Aoba wins the contest and begins her new career as main character designer thanks to her hard work, devotion, and some help from the former character designer, Kou Yagami. Her new work, however, is not going to be simple. Aoba is questioning if she is the proper match for the position, in addition to having greater work and longer hours. A whole new game!! remains to be Aoba overcomes her inexperience with the help of her friends and coworkers, willing to face any challenge to make Eagle Jump's newest creation, a cutesy game called Peco.
