Hundreds of years ago, the human and youkai worlds momentarily collided, resulting in many people from both worlds crossing over to the other. The city of Sakurashin has grown into a prominent hub for all inter-dimensional matters in the years after this occurrence, thanks to both the hallowed Seven Pillars encircling the city serving as a beacon for the youkai and the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office's attempts to keep the townspeople happy. Hime Yarizakura, the city's youthful mayor; satori Ao Nanami, who can read people's minds; half-youkai Kotoha Isone, who can summon anything with a single word; oni brothers Kyousuke and Touka Kishi; and office director Akina Hiizumi, who inherited his family's business.
